FLAT RATE PRICINGWe have implemented a flat rate pricing program for our residential service customers to help improve the quality of service that we offer. Instead of using the conventional time and material system when working for a customer, we now have an upfront pricing guide so that we can let the customer know exactly what the work will cost before the job is started. Our upfront pricing guide has three different pricing columns for each job. The first column is our "Standard Rate", the second column is our "Value Rate" which is a discounted rate charged to customers who purchase our Service Partner Protection Plan, and the third is our "Add-On" rate which is a lower rate for any additional repairs we perform on the same visit as the original service call. For problems with your heating system, we charge a dispatch/diagnostic fee of $79 to come to your home and spend up to 20 minutes diagnosing the problem Our technician will diagnose and explain the work that is needed and give you an upfront price for that work. He may also give you options for other repairs or improvements that you may be interested in along with an upfront price for them. If you choose not to have us do the work, you will pay our technician the $79 (plus tax) dispatch fee and he will be on his way. For plumbing related work, we charge a dispatch fee of $49 to come to your home. Our technician will diagnose and explain the work that is needed and give you an upfront price for that work. He may also give you options for other repairs or improvements that you may be interested in along with an upfront price for them. If you choose not to have us do the work, you will pay our technician the $49 (plus tax) dispatch fee and he will be on his way. Certain jobs such as furnace cleanings and hot water heater installations can be quoted over the phone to you by our office staff from the upfront price guide. However, most jobs require diagnosis by a trained technician and for this reason, we can not give price quotes over the phone. Larger installation jobs are handled by a trained comfort consultants who will visit your home to review the job and give you a detailed proposal. Please call our office for more information. We have had very positive feedback from our customers on our flat rate pricing. Most prefer to know the cost of service before the job is done. If you have any questions regarding flat rate pricing, call our office and we will be happy to help you.
